Im completely lost on the "saving over save files". Isnt that the whole point? To not have too many save files on your system?

I guess you have to clean up the old saves after you are done playing. Actually makes sense. this way you can choose a safe back up save.

hm I try to find out if it is possible to connect to a pc if it is then I think it will help a lot.
I put a new hard drive in a playstation of my ex once and that went all perfect.
Before I removed the old hard drive I made a backup on a external hard drive and when the new hard drive was build in I connected the external hard drive and I could just install al the information. Nothing went lost.

so maybe I can fix things with connecting it to the pc.

Does the janitor thing only apply to weapons or does it have to be done with armor and other misc items?

The reason serana can't carry anything.
From the UESP:
Sometimes when Serana wears her hood outdoors, the game creates a new copy of the hood for her to wear, which will eventually fill up her inventory with a number of identical hoods.
It's near the bottom of this link http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Serana

Since im playing a pure mage this time around Im not putting any points into stamina. Looks like ill be putting the restoration loop to good use by adding the extra carry weight to be able to collect everything from the bodies.

Weapons and shields. I press "loot all" sincr it's faster than just finding the individual weapon and sword. After I loot everybody in the area, I store it all in one of the bodies.

So then it doesnt apply to armor, food, misc items like soul gems or whatever. Just weapons and shields? And when you say "in the area" youre referring to that particular cell right?

Yes to both.

For example, outside Halted Steam Camp. You kill everybody outside, loot them, store it all into one body, then go into the dungeon. I hear dungeons clean up, but out of habit I still do it inside.
