Gettin' Paid in New Vegas!

I got my 200K without mods easy enough. *shrugs* FO3 money is so easy to come by because you never have to really buy anything, I had some much loot I traded for practically all of a vendors useful inventory and caps and still had some left over to trade to the next guy. You get so much ammo, stimm's and gear thrown at you from practically the beginning it's ridiculous.

The enemies are harder to kill in FO3 but you would not know that because you probably used a mod to make it easy so that you did not have to actually try in the game. Plus you use more stimpacks because enemies actually take away heath in that game. I know it is tough for you to believe that because you just use mods. Plus I like to have fun in the game and not hitting all the spawn points over and over. I try t have some fun when I play my games and use some skill...

Also do you have COD and if you do do you use the Noob Tube or some hack or something?

Wrong again, I used a mods to add more of them in because they where push overs with a lvl 20 god character. Yeah you uses like 1/10 of the stimms you find laying around maybe by the end of the game...XD I was only grinding Spawn points because thats the only thing you have to do once you finish the MQ and continue to play. Very hard wasn't hard at all, now Very hard when you get 5x, 10x the spawns with some of the super creatures that are added in by MMM is hard. Just so you know in MMM a Supermutant spawn has a chance to spawn Behemoths in the group, and the bigger groups have a chance to spawn Gargantuan that are even tougher. All the mods I put in made the game tougher not easier.

But still how you milk caps out of the game is just pointless(its to time consuming). But its way easier to make money in FNV.

Seems to me what I was doing is the very complaint people have with NV. (not enough mobs to grind in the wastes.) Anyway yeah Caps are just as easy to come by in NV, but atleast it cost more to buy stuff, and Ammo and Stimms are much rarer so I do have to buy more ammo then in FO3. I use the Companion limit = charisma /2 mod so it's like it was in FO2 plus a few companion mods to get Sunny smiles, marcus and Melissa plus some other companion gals. Ikeep them armed with a diverse set of weapons so I'm always running low on something. :P

Yeah, F3 with MMM and Very Hard is NOT easy! But it is fun. I really never had a money problem in F3 because there was no point in buying anything. At least in FNV it seems a lot of the good weapons need to be bought. From the rip-off Gun Runners. I would rather they sell cheap half broken weapons!

On subject, for pure money making - you can not beat Jury Rigging.

Unfortunately, some WRK components- especially the Duct Tape- are not common enough. From my observation, you can find enough components for about 120 to 150 WRKs over the course of the game. You need to burn 3-4 of them to repair one weapon from near-broken to perfect. If you do it a lot, you'll burn through your WRKs quickly- and don't forget that for some weapons (missile launchers, miniguns, etc.) WRK is the only cost-effective way of repair.

The expense of hunting Fiends in terms of ammo and supplies is negligible. Ratslayer with 5.56 HP ammo and a Lever-Action Shotgun for backup does the job just fine. All the supplies you need you find on the Fiends themselves. And let's face it, time spent hunting Fiends is time well spent :) And you get tons of good karma as a bonus.

I like to do sweeps through Fiend territory for fun but I've never found it especially profitable. With a jury rigging perk I can make a lot of money pretty fast. You have to worry about cleaning the merchants out mostly.

When I'm doing a weapon class-specific character such as EWs or Melee than Ill take my enemies weapons since most of them have Guns. If I have Luck over 5 than I gamble but usually I do Quests or scavenge.

Yah guns is all i really spent my money on in FNV. There were so many of them and a good number of mods to spend it on.
