Im going back into skyrim after about 3 months. My question is how do I. Im completely lost on where to start. Should I start a new account or load up a save that im level 40 on. Anything helps

I'd probably load the existing character and play with him/her for a bit, and if I found it boring, start another one. But it's entirely your choice.

Im recently returning to skyrim also,i was reading about the new Legendary Difficulty, i plan to create a new character on this difficulty setting.

Still not sure what archetype i am going to run

If you don't like your character, I suggest the Skyrim Blog. Might get a build off of there, or get some inspiration.

If you're going back to play Skyrim on a current character after a long time away, I suggest doing some small misc. objectives or radiant quest, just to get used to things again.

Start a new character with Frostfall, Imp's Complex Needs, and a random start mod. Make your own story.

I created multiple characters then skyrim got pushed out they way by other games, this was about six months ago, I tried to go back but it was difficult re-adjusting. So I would try to carry on if you can, if not just start a new character.
