Getting Cobl races to work

Post » Mon Jan 18, 2010 5:29 am

Can't seem to get Cobl races to work, the eyes show up as just black. How do I get this file to work correctly with wrye bash?

Also what about Cobl races tnr and cobl races tnr si? Should I use just one of them or all of them including Cobl races? I am unsure.

Do you have Cobl Cosmetic Resource files installed?

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21104 its under optional files if you dont.

I didnt even realize that was there hah, stupid me. What about the TNR files? I assume I no longer need the original TNR files? but those used to be loaded first on my load list while boss puts the cobl ones much lower.

If you have Shivering Isles then you want to use both esp files. You don't need the standalone TNR, Cobl includes everything. Boss's load order is good. If you use a bashed patch then you should also use the Import Faces option when rebuilding your patch.

Thanks for the help, maybe someone can help me out with something else.

I am setting up FCOM and im doing basic testing to make sure everything is working. I go to the Testinghall but its very strange. This is my first time going there so im not familiar with it. Some of the rooms are just empty, some rooms I go into are all black and I cant see anything except for weapons or items. For example, I go into the weapons room and it shows all the weapons just fine but its all black, no room and im falling down. Some rooms seem to work fine. I tried going into the creature room and it was all black too but I could walk around, I was able to find a door and went into it and it led me to an area with all kinds of monsters fighting, but why was the entrance room all black?

Hi Just went into all the Rooms myself...seams some of the rooms don't have lighting ...I grabbed a torch and could see.
I did have one room ( a Basemant test room) where some walls were missing and if you went beyond the floor area you would fall.

I did the 300 test cell for FCOM but never this before.

Hope this helps.
