I have the Fallout collection, and the only game I can't install is Fallout 2. Anyone have any advice or solutions? By the way, every time I try to install it either freezes or the start-up screen just disappears.

Not trying to bump here, but I apologize for putting this in the General Discussion tab. I completely forgot about this tab though, it's been a while since I've been in anything but the New Vegas and Brink tabs.

Well, the thing is, I can install on Vista on my brother's labtop, but not on XP. And it's the Fallout collection bundle thing, which is for windows '95 or '98.

Are you trying to install via the autoplay function? I know when I try to do it, nothing happens.

Abort the autoplay via the task manager. Go into the CD drive and find the install program and run it directly. If you have problems with that stupid mandatory advert you get after it's done, use task manager for shut it down. Game should run perfectly under XP.

Do this, but also, if it for some reason dose not work, run the Setup in compability mode, Windows 95/98 ofc

So uh, how do I do all that exactly? Sorry, for being so computer illiterate.

Open "My Computer" and right-click on the disc drive with the install CD. Select "Open" rather than "Autoplay". It'll show you the files on the disc. Then you can open the setup files manually. It'll probably be called something like "Setup.exe".
If that wasn't your problem, please clarify which bit precisely is giving you trouble.
