I'm Getting Fallout 3 Tomorrow...

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 4:00 pm

Because Rivet City is so awesome right? Lol...

Rivet City wasn't advertised as the highlight of the game though...

@OP Fallout 3 can be summed up in two words...Mothership Zeta

Try again, Mothership Zeta is a terribly poor example of what Fallout 3 offers (I love Fallout 3 and hate MZ).

Better to say that Fallout 3 can be summed up with The Pitt or Point Lookout, those two DLC's expressed perfectly what I love about Fallout 3.

@OP Two words...Metro Tunnels......nuff said.

Thanks. The metro tunnels are awesome (no really, ask anyone who likes Fallout 3 and the metro tunnels are usually a favorite of theirs). They were missed in New Vegas.

Well hopefully you weren't referring to Megaton so where are these great cities?

First of all the extra 25 locations are safe houses and rocks. WHAT ABOUT D.C. itself...

You have discovered rock 1
You have discovered rock 2
You have discovered rock 3
You have discovered rock 4

...

Oh yeah BoS Safehouse

NCR Safehouse
Legion Safehouse

....

Gotta love those extra 25 locations huh?

Also I don't see much point in addressing the OP, he seems to have flown the coup.

I'm hear. Just trying to deduce something out of this madness.

And not to be smarmy but I have seen quite a few people say they do not care for the metro tunnels but they still love the game.

True there are many who don't. But I've heard more "man the metro tunnels in Fallout 3 were so errie and suspenseful" then "god I hate metros" from Fallout 3 lovers.

I'm one those who love the metro tunnels

I remember my very first time in one, I'd just finished shooting up some ghoulies and while wiping the blood from my armour a radroach scurried out of it's hidey hole.... it ended up as a smear on the floor because of how twitchy the tunnel had made me.

Thanks guys for the quick replies. Saved me money, time, and future disappointment. I'll wait for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Good call

Heh my first time in one involved me being scared crapless at the thought of running into a ghoul (was freaking terrified of ghouls when I first played the game). I'm pretty sure I ran my butt outta there when I heard one scream.......

I think most of the OP's questions have been answered. The rest of this thread just seems to be spam and arguing. *shrug*
