I'm getting fed up with those guys

Post » Tue Mar 02, 2010 7:00 am

Wandering the wasteland as I do, I now and then come across Brotherhood of Steel folk. They're so friendly with their comments. "Shouldn't you be rubbing rocks together, Local?" And other pleasantries. What snots! I'm tempted to blow a couple of heads off to see what happens. Anyone tried that? Or do you just put up with it and keep moving?

You're welcome to try blowing their heads off. My characters generally ignore them or raise my reputation with them by helping their leader.

Spoiler
Casdin can be found at Fort Independence and you can give him items like power armor and scrap metal for stimppacks and things.

Yeah if you do as Hungry Donner suggests, instead of the usual snide remarks you get, "Casdin said you're clear." Even the Sentry's on the Wasteland patrols say it. Heh.

They can call me whatever names they like. I'm the one robbing them blind of Stimpacks.

I kill 'em all and sell their gear. Nobody tells me to go bang rocks together and gets away with it.

Yeah I think if you click on them they offer up the same ol' rock bangin' comments. If you look at or stand near them without clicking they do the Casdin clear comments.

i kill em or just walk away, it really depends on a couple things.

1: if theres enemies further on the path, i wont kill them

2: if there weapons are terrible i wont kill them. (i mean, seriously, im getting sick of laser rifles)

3: if they have names, i wont kill them. (otherwise they wont come around again)

if none of those rules apply, there gonna need alot more than stimpacks to patch them up.
