I prefer to play skyrim without followers. Does anyone have a idea on how I could get the followers out of the follower missions???

In dawnguard sometimes you can have serana wait and she will. Other times she will not. If I could get all of the followers in the missions to wait I could complete the missions and then come back for them.

Any Ideas on a simple fix??

Assuming you are not going to risk quest related followers break quest...you can just (console command) "disable" the follower NPC and later "enable" them back.
