Getting a haircut...

Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 11:45 am

So this one is pretty simple. Should we be able to change our hair after character creation? I think yes, but the opinion of the forum is what I'm after here.
P.S: If there is a thread about this please use that and close this one.

I don't see any reason why this shouldn't be included. I would enjoy having the ability to change my beard and hairstyle afterwards, even if I would only use it everyone now and again.

What?!

you could do so in Fallout 3. Personally I dont think it would make sense to go from no hair to tons of hair in a matter of seconds but I dont really care either way

I go with yes. Because I play characters for hours and hours, would be nice to change there appearance every so often and it should be beards and hair in the vote.

I don't like the idea. This game is about slaying dragons, not visiting the local barber. :P

I wouldn't mind a little trim of the beard every now and then. :P

I don't see why not. Some times I grow tired of the facial hair as well as the hair style I chose in Oblivion and Fallout 3. It wouldn't be hard to implement and it would allow people to role play the time that has passed. I see no logical reason to not include it.

I want to grow out my in game beard when I go exploring. With 3rd person looking useable now it seems to make more sense. Still they did it in Fallout 3 so I'm guessing they will. Just no facial reconstruction thanks.

I usually always have a helmet on so it makes no difference to me. Plus I spend no time at all on my characters looks, I just start playing.

Yes - I want to change my hair and wear someone else's clothes when I go out to assassinate, and shave my head ready for battle. :D

Yes, even the small cosmetic thing is important to a game this large.

Yeah,I really hope they've added post-creation character customisation. But only hair and clothes.

You know, when thinking of it, wouldn't it be neat to be able to apply non-permanent war paint this way? Just a thought and I don't even know if this makes sense.

That would actually be a great idea. You should make a thread about it, then bethesda might see it.

showracemenu solves this on pc, however you has to be careful with it as it can easy reset your skills to their starting values.
See no reason why it should not be an barber or something as it don’t require much work.

It's not really something I'd do, but seeing as though there's absolutely no reason not to be able to change your hairstyle, then I'm all for putting it in the game.

I think this is a issue(-ish) more suited for console gamers since you pc gamers can just use that. Lucky you :D

There is purpose even if its not practical. As a roll player, I personally would love it. In OB i had the "military" hair cut but when ever i dressed in the smarter clothes it didn't match but looked great when I was going for the rugged adventurer look.
