I have created a character to do the thieves guild quests as well as the dark brotherhood.

I am not doing the main quest line with this character, so I would like to go to Riften as soon as possible.

I would like to get my speechcraft up high enough so I do not have to pay the fine.

It has been a while since my main character first entered Riften.

Does anyone know the level my speechcraft needs to be so that I can go into Riften without paying the fine?

I've never paid the fine. even on characters that went from helgen straight to Riften.

Also use the entrance on the docks or enter through the black briar meadery. You'll pop into Riften by the smith.

I think all the entrances to Riften are closed until you do the guard racket at the front gate.

No Res is correct the Black-Briar Meadery entrance works as a way to bypass the Guards.

Yes, it has to be at least 25. (I just did that 2 days ago)
