Getting kicked out of the dark brotherhood?

Is there a way to get kicked out of the DB?

I'm extending my characters story, where he joins the DB for a period, trains with them, hones his skills only to realise he is morally opposed to killing innocents for money and defects from them.

Did you try attacking any of them?

I've never tried to get " kicked out "......

attacking any DB member, which includes Lucien Lachance and Lis, Babbette's pet spider. Apparently, feeding on the corpses of your victims is also a way, though I have never tried it.

Really? Feeding as in vampiric feeding or feeding like what the ring of Namira allows or both?

All I know is that you can get kicked out of the Thieves Guild and the College.

Usually if you did wrong against the Dark Brotherhood, they'd face the wraith of Sithis. But it appears that doesn't happen here.

Not so much IMO when Rping a righteous, honorable hero type. You still need to commit to crime in order to even come close to killing them.
