So I'm ready to roll up a new character after having not played the game for a long time.

This game is getting long in the tooth now, and I've spent my fair share of time in it. But I know there is a lot I haven't explored yet in this game. I'd like to hear how you guys/gals approached the game in this situation.

Background: I ran the main quest just once. I played a another character that focused on side quests/exploration and ignored the main quest. I played stealth archers with a focus on alchemy; I used low level magic like detect life to assist my stealthiness but did not rely on it as a major skill. I have OOO as my only mod. I play on 40 percent difficulty (more or less) because I'm not a powergamer by nature.

Edit: Oh yes, I have Knights of the Nine (haven't really played it) but no other DLC. Well, I have access to Deepscorn, and I don't know if that's the same DLC or not.

You are missing out on so much! You need to get Shivering Isles, also play through Knights of the Nine.

The Shivering Isles are pretty awesome. You should check it out.

OK, you've convinced me to pick up a copy of Shivering Isles (or download it, if possible).

Can a stealth character make it through Knights of the Nine? It sounds like that DLC is focused on Cleric/Paladin types. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool thief.
