Getting ready for Skyrim!

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 5:50 am

I hereby commit to a strict diet of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venison, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whale_meat, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N?kkelost and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lefse. Until Skyrim launches, I will not shave, nor cut my hair, and not drink any alcohol.

And when I have the box in hand, wiping salty tears of joy from my eyes and beard, http://i56.tinypic.com/ivg7rd.jpg

And I'll sing a hearty sing along to the theme of Skyrim, pounding my chest as I embark on my jorney as Harald the Nord!

(In the event that you would like to complain about me eating whale meat, please send it in written form to my imaginary office in 1 Valhalla street, 6066 North Hammertime, packaged in a still warm moose skull. Sadly, I am Norwegian and genetically unable to understand any communication regarding such things in other forms than this, thank you for understanding.)

Why do I need a link to venison? I know what venison is. As well as whale, key cheese, and lefse... :P

Reminds me of what one guy did on the Lionhead forums before Fable II was released. He went without shaving for six months and grew this massive beard. You seriously need to upload some weekly pics of your scruff so we can see.

Hehe weekly pics would be a bit anticlimactic with my slow hair growth LOL. But when we get closer to fall there might be progress :tes:

I always have a beard, does that count? I am doing something though, I'm making a scale map of Tamriel on Canvas. I am about 1/10 the way done with the initial drawing, and from there will either paint it or actually sew in the detail permanently. The final map size? about 8.75x6.25 feet. That's right, FEET!

Sorry, doesn't count (ha ha). Your wait for Skyrim should cost you so while we grow beards you should grap the scissors and....

Your map work sounds mint as though aye!
