getting rid of nanosuite voices

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 6:16 am

is there any way to disable nanosuite voices?
it's really disturbing in multiplayer, and i already know that i have activated stealth/nanovision/armor, i don't need that reminder, i hear that voice hundreds of times every day, no way disable that ?

does using a non-standard .pak relies to a somewhat cheat alert ?
i've just modified italian.pak and changed 3 samples with blank samples, nanovision, armor and stealth.
Is this considered cheat ? just wondering..

i'm afraid it could be considered as cheat
but don't worry - CrEAtek haven't learn to search and ban cheaters yet

No it's not considered cheating.

And you don't have to get a .pak from the Internet...

Extract it yourself and ten repack it

Language packs can be edited, even if they make any system which will be checking PAK files it won't be bothering with language ones, since you can't cheat by editing those.
Worst case scenario? Anyone who have edited any PAK file will bet auto banned muahaha :3 But thats like SiFy rather than reality.

WTF u on about.
No game would ever check language files unless they contain game data - WHICH THEY DON'T!

And I have yet to meet someone who got banned for editing .pak's

Ok people, anybody know a program which can open a .pak, modify its content and save it?

Crytek cant help us with this "maximum annoyance" so we need to take our own steps.
