Getting Skyrim in Japan

Post » Mon Feb 14, 2011 1:22 am

Hello everyone, I have moved to Japan earlier this year and I was wondering how I would get an English copy of Skyrim? Will the copies being sold normally in Japan have English accessibility or will I need to have it specially ordered? I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, so apologies if its in the wrong place.

cheers

It depends on if you bought your Xbox in the states or there cause many games are region locked. But if you just bought one there just change the settings, if you have one from the states have a friend/family member ship a US copy. PS send me some candy i miss there candy.

first off I live in near Ginza in tokyo, all that happened here is some trains got delayed and things lightly shook. the rest is just relief efforts up north. everything is currently the best it could be in the situation.

I am playing on PC, the play asia link looks great though! amazon seems like they would charge a crazy amount and ship it from america.

essentially just order it via any American, Canadian or UK store that will do international shipping to Japan, just remember which version you get as American/Canadian version will likely have different patches to UK, else wise there should be no issue as a PC is not region locked. Alternatively singapore is an English speaking nation and in Asia, so if it was for a console, a Singaporian version I'd imagine would work too.

Have a friend or relative in the US buy it for you and mail it to you.

Play-Asia sells 100% legit Japanese and US video games out of Hong Kong, so it will likely ship to you a lot faster than someone from the US. Any import/export fees are included in the price, all you have to pay is the shipping.

Well, I think Skyrim is the least of Japan's worries now.
