Hi, i'm getting a little worried that the PC version is just going to be a console port.
If that is the case i may ignore this game even though it seems to be amazing.
Anyone know anything about this?

Don't worry, they built every version from the ground up, none of the versions are a port

I think you should elaborate more on why you think Brink will be a port.

They've said they develop all three separately, so keep that in mind

And the XBOX360 is apparently the flawed version and is getting an update day one, so.. We should be worried

The company has only really done PC games, it had a team do each platform, numerous interviews explain the unique treatment PC got.

splash damage came from pc gaming background. they developed quake wars and enemy territory on the pc. its only now they are moving onto consoles. if anything the pc version will be the most refined so no need to worry.

No need to worry, Brink is only the last chance for FPS to thrive on PC...

I beg to differ....I <3 Brink - Trust me, Total really devoted fan (Should see my living room - Have a massive Brink picture on the wall, Nailer.....)

But I think Brink Is going to be special in many ways...But im also looking forward to Firefall (Sorry if im breaking any rules here by advertising a game :S Sorry!)

But i thought it had to be says - Brink + firefall will be my most played games ever known.

FPS gaming on the PC has been increasing yearly now. It's actually much larger than the console FPS market.


Firefall isn't looking so hot, they are combining a bit of Planetside, Section 8, and Borderlands. It will be a loot based non-skill game. Purely for casual gamers if that's your thing.
