There has been very little new info since the trailer, at one point a month went by with nothing new, I am not sure what your talking about. Yes here and there, DX11, Carriages,no Attributes, 2 pictures, ummmmm. I did not complained before, it just that this week there was a lot of hype for new info and it was unwarranted.

Yes, but do you realize the the majority of developing studios release very little, if any info on a game 7 months prior to its release? We've been spoiled. We have dozens of internet articles, magazine articles, screenshots, video interviews, and gameplay footage more than half a year before the game is released.

The only thing worth watching in the interview would be the gameplay trailer. It looked amazing on my HD tv, A lot better than it did on my computer.

Keep in mind that they didn't show the entire trailer. But yea it looks good. Too bad we couldn't plug in a controller and play!

And that is because the console version is meant to be seen on the TV and not on your computer. I never had any issue with the gameplay trailer because it looked perfect as I was using my HDTV as my computer monitor. If more people would realize that all the console screens and videos are meant to be seen on the TV so all of you hook up to your TV and see Skyrim in all it's glory.

But why would he ask if we would be able to play a dragon? What has he been living under a rock. He could of used the time waste on that question for a question about combat or something. The most dumb question I have ever seen.

He'd had some hard hitting questions all planned out for the mighty Bethesda Bosmer; he'd been reciting their complex and profound brilliance in front of the mirror for days, all in preparation for what he believed would go down in history as the video game industry's greatest interview ever. But little did he know that the Wood Elf he would face in this battle of wit and word was far more powerful than he, and when he finally came face to face with his foe that cold morning on the peak of High Hrutah, young Geoff Keighley was struck stupid and speechless by The Howard's might, power, and charm and all he could think to say in that blank moment was, "can we play as a dragon?...Nope?...Oh darn."

I don't really get what you are saying. The console trailer is only 720p, how would it look any better on a large screen with low dpi than on my 1080p computer monitor?

Probably because if you watch it from far away it'll hide the fact that half the game is ugly normal maps :hehe:

You generally dont notice as much lack of detail because you usually sit farther away from a tv but with a monitor you right in front of it so even at 1080p you'll notice any lack of detail.

Alright, I can see how that would help. Downsizing it to 360p also works wonders.

I'm not in the least bit disappointed. A fire breath Shout confirmed? That's like the coolest character ability in an RPG since... uh...

I haven't even seen the interview and I don't doubt that this is precisely what happened.

I'm not really one to moan about new info, but i've not been to impressed this week to be honest. I mean most of the info was basically covered in GI way back. They released two beast screenshot's ( while great ),but i believe it was to cover their tracks because of repetative info. I really don't feel to comfortable moaning about this because,as i said,i'm grateful for any news, but i am a little disappointed. No offence, but some of these people who do these interviews are...well.....SHOCKING!...I could of asked better questions, while being gagged. It's similar to some of the fallout NV interviews, some of them were terrible.

Anyway,we get what we get i suppose, better than slap in the face.

Note: Some articles did do a good job of explaining things,i'll be clear on that...But whether we/i were to excited about this info,it wasn't what i was expecting.

There....i've spat my dummy out. :)

Wow that interview was even lamer than I thought it would be. This whole week was why overhyped, very little new info overall.

Indeed. Hyper overhype-flation.

Because this interview is taking place late into the week, I was expecting them to answer at least a couple of new questions; not necessarily huge questions but something minor to warrant watching yet another interview about this game. Maybe just 5-10 seconds of the demo that they screened for everybody spliced into the interview. However, it didn't even touch on the things that every other interview this week got into and that was disappointing. Given that this show airs on Spike TV (a station that caters to the most lowbrow kind of man-centric programming), I am not surprised by the kinds of questions asked. That being said, I am sure that this interview found it's target audience and that there are stoners sitting on their couches covered in Cheetos right now, staring at their hands, and feeling incredibly bummed that they won't get to play as a dragon.

I think a lot of the hype was generated by this forum, personally. They mentioned they'd be some juicy info and we overinflated it. We DID get some good stuff. We might have heard pieces of it before, but seeing how it comes together (in the demo that was described) was awesome, for me at least. Plus the character models we were shown (orc and Khajit) definitely were juicy.

But yeah, these forums definitely went into hype supermode. We only have ourselves to blame.

Maybe it's because I'm well rested, not having stayed up for the interview, but I don't feel that way at all. After the orc and khajitt (with lanterns!) screenshots, anything else is gravy. Indeed, one of the post-event articles specified where you get one of the shouts, so I'm wondering if I need to start spoiler-avoidance maneuvers sooner than expected. Reveals are fun, but I don't want to know too much when I slip the disc into my D drive. I want lots of "I can do that!" moments in-game.

Let's not forget the other important info such as "you can't play as a dragon."

Just to dispel all of the thousands of people who thought you could play as a dragon.

...

Well, gee, isn't that earth shattering news? I'm sure you just dashed like 4 whole people's dreams.
