At GHF you can attach a file to a PM. Look at the bottom of the PM text field.

You can make a .zip with 7-zip.

Arkngt i did it this way tell me if it works. I copied elbero ( save file ) to 7-zip file manager and chose to save it as .zip then i recopied the .zip to morrowind folder. God i hate 7-zip :(

If 7-Zip produced a .zip file with the elbero save in it - it worked. ;)

I'm getting a new warning when updating.
Error: uID/PIN ErrorCheck your ID and Pin

I'm using the latest version of the uploader, the one Fliggerty mentioned earlier today, and it did work 8 hours ago.

I'm going to be going over much of the post script tonight, hopefully fixing all the issues here (we'll see if they all work). I doubt I'll get it uploaded before tomorrow, though.

Hey peachy, when you do that, will you take a look at the section near the top that I commented out because it caused errors? I got a 500 error everytime I ran it with that in there.

I don't know that we'll see a lot of progress on the site itself for a few days. I'm focusing my attentions on the mod portion of this at the moment. There's a LOT of data I need to harvest, and now that the "extended data" portion of the uploader works, I am getting down to it.

Yup. Er, which bit exactly?
I've been doing some work on it today, not a whole lot to fix that I see. I added another check for a little more security (maybe), but that's all so far.

I also have the code ready to build for all current errors and the extended data fix (though I need to test to make sure it cds right).

There's a bit that's supposed to parse some characters out of the $_POST string. I've got no problem with more security. :goodjob:

Yes, it looks like I've received it. I've not yet been able to download as I'm at work, and won't tonight (it's my anniversary, have to devote my attentions to Shmigg this evening. ;)) But I'll figure out what 's going on with it the first chance I have. Thank you for sending it along, I do appreciate it. :hehe:

I'm compiling a list of mods that I am going to initially include in this. I would like suggestions of mods, and the specific thing we should be tracking from them.

I haven't been able to upload saves today. uID/PIN error.

Also, sometimes it takes a while to see the new picture if you update the profile pic. After upload it shows the old one. It's updated when returning to the site later on though.

It would be great to gather information such as where the PC is living. I guess it could be done by looking if certain scripts have been activated in a certain mod. Like if I own the Broken Drum tavern, I think that should have some script that gives you ownership so maybe check for such things?

Maybe also track if the PC is married, to who and if he have any kids.

I'm gonna go wild with ideas so:

Also grab random comment from the PC's companion(s). To display somewhere. Like if you can get the disposition and if the companion mod has some comments the NPC can make on the PC.

Strongest monster encountered?

How much money?

But more on mods to be included:
RKCriminals, where you are a known criminal?

Well... let me see if I can give this a shot.

Mod Name: Great House DagothFaction Rank: Ranking in House Dagoth. One with the Heart: Number of times almost killed and teleported back to the Heart Chamber.

Mod Name: DiablerieSoul Drinker: Number of times you have commited Diablerie.

Mod Name: Illuminated OrderFaction Ranking: Current rank in the Faction.Boon of Lichdom: Currently a Lich. The Great Beast: Currently a Great Beast.

Mod Name: The Dwemeri SecretThe Truth Revealed: Finished the quest line.

Mod Name: The Lost Artifacts of MorrowindOwner of All: Obtained all Artifacts and finished the quest line.

For the last one, it would be neat to also keep track of all the Artifacts the player has gathered as well.

Tamriel Rebuilt. Keep track on where the PC is. Also the PC:s rank in the guilds (I think it is implemented, but I have only done some quests here and there so I'm not 100%).

There will be very little effect. While some things need to be continuously monitored, most of the data I will be harvesting can be gathered at a single time. When you use the Census Log book to update the uploader files, the game will essentially be "paused" while all of the relevant data is collected. This way there won't be a lot of scripts recording things over and over again until it is needed.

Like I said though, some things will have to be always monitored. But I like to think I've gotten pretty good at optimizing scripts for performance and speed.

I haven't been able to upload saves today. uID/PIN error.

Also, sometimes it takes a while to see the new picture if you update the profile pic. After upload it shows the old one. It's updated when returning to the site later on though.

I think peachy has been working on the uploading script. The issue with the image is probably just by it being cached. What browser are you using? Try clearing the cache as soon as you update. It has always been instantaneous for me using Firefox 3.1.something.or.other.

It would be great to gather information such as where the PC is living. I guess it could be done by looking if certain scripts have been activated in a certain mod. Like if I own the Broken Drum tavern, I think that should have some script that gives you ownership so maybe check for such things?

This is going to be manually tracked. Rather than checking for such things in all of the thousands of house mods out there, the PC will determine where their character's "home" is. One of the options in the Census Log will be "Mark Current Cell as 'Home.'"

But more on mods to be included:
