GHF Census and Excise Office the 3rd

That's much better as mostly everything is in the right place, What's happening with the other inventory items though? Only gold is showing up.

When using a custom Class or a modded Race, one has to edit the info from "User_made_Class" and the Race ID to their proper names.
That's fine, and it works perfect, but it resets itself to the default after each new upload of the Census Log.
Is there anyway to lock in your Class and Race if you're using a custom Class or a modded Race?

I'll work on a fix for that.

I've done some work on the mod side of this. It will now get a lot of inventory info, some miscellaneous stats, and companions now. Not all of that will display online yet, but it will be harvested and uploaded.

Note that you need to get the new esp download available.

The site is really coming together lately. I've got a lot more stats displaying now. To be honest, I'm thinking that the grand unveiling is only a matter of weeks away. :twothumbs:

Perhaps, though it is hard to say. There is definitely a lot of things I want to add still; for example I have not built support for any mods yet. But I think that the basic implementation of this things is just about done. There really are only a few things left to polish up. I really am getting excited for this!

Recent changelog:

*When you manually edit your race, birthsign, or class it is then "locked" so as not to be reset when uploading your character again.
*Many miscellaneous stats will be displayed.
*Added function for most of the badges that have not worked before.
*You can now write a back-story for your character.
*Ability to post comments on a character page.

Some of the things I've added to the site right now will not display anything yet until I get the next version of the mod available. Expect that within the next few days. I am going to focus on correcting some of the MWSE CTDs and errors that some people are reporting.

I got the new ESP a few days ago and it worked, but as of right now my Upload fails, saying I need to check my ID #

Is there another new ESP already?

No, not yet. I've made some changes to both the esp and the post script, but haven't yet had a chance to test them yet. So to be honest, I'm not surprised that it isn't working right now. I hope to get it ironed out and available sometime this afternoon.

While I'm here, I actually want to get some bit of feedback on something I've been tossing around.

There are an awful lot of small, insignificant stats that I can monitor and record. Some of them that I have already set up are things like the number of times you "swoosh" your weapon or the number of arrows you shoot. I wonder just how far I ought to take this? Should I track how many steps you have taken? The amount of time you spend levitating, or sneaking? Some of those are going to end up being extremely large numbers, but are quite simple to track.

So whaddya think? The more feedback I get on this, the quicker I can make up my mind and get it done. ;)

Sneaking and levitating time could be displayed with "rank" instead of exact number. For example: Novice sneaker, assassin, shadow etc. (no exact order, I hope you get the idea.)

I like the sneaking and levitating numbers idea!
Steps taken really becomes useless. Final Fantasy (and other "traditional" RPGs) have had that stat in every game and it really becomes a meaningless number very quickly. Ha, maybe a more Morrowind-centric stat could be "Times Jumped"! lol!

Weapon Swings might also become insanely high, and thus useless, too. But I see why it could be there because the bow and bolt shot values are there, too. I like those two stat ideas.

I love the magic stats! It'd be cool if you could do some math trick to determine the total overall magic cast/fail % as a stat. Maybe as an extension of that thought you could create ranks for magicka "classes": Hack, Amateur, Student, Scholar, Mage, Sorcerer, Master, etc or something. Maybe those rank names could even replace the numerical values on the site for each school instead of having the cost/fFailures stats? ....I'm just a thinking out loud.
.
I think most of the Miscellaneous Stats section can be renamed to "Combat Stats", and then have "Miscellaneous Stats" be the Jail, Werewolf, Cell visits, Times Traveled.

Maybe throw the "Is a Vamp" (along with what clan) and "Is a WW" into the Faction section? Known WW could still be in the Misc stats.

Glad to see the Leader Board up... but I don't want to know what how to acquire the points for that! That leaves a nice little mystery for us to figure out.

Comment section looks great.

Oh! I considered looking up as many different weather phrases as I could, but in the end I feel that just keeping it simple might be best: Clear. Cloudy. Rain. Thunder Storm. Blight Storm. Snowing. Blizzard. Cats and Dogs, etc.

How about instead of how many steps you've taken, calculate it as a total distance traveled.

Tracking levitate and sneak time sounds like fun!

Total distance traveled would be cool

Do you think you could track number of letters sent if we get MWPS up and running?

I'd like to see cumulative stats like bounty, gold, damage take, damage done ect.

I just downloaded whatever new version is on the site and created an account and everything.... I'm still not uploading all the stats for my character. I'm using a brand new install (Fully brand new, didn't even have a Bethesda folder before installing)

I'm using MWSE 0.9.4.0 (no idea if that helps at all)
Also using the Code Patch... I don't know
There has to be some reason why most people have it uploading fine, yet a select few can't upload everything. There has to be some common link somewhere.

Pluto, in the console window does it say this anywhere? "Could not get manual update flag."

Or does it display another error at the bottom of the window?

I agree, Marbred. I really suspect that something is preventing the extended data file from being written. There should be a file in the MWSE folder called charactername_data.cne. It should contain all of the extended data that gets uploaded. If it's not being written to, then nothing is being uploaded. Is there anything in it? Does it even exist? What about charactername_mood.cne and charactername_activity.cne? Are those files even being created?

Will you try out this test mod please? http://www.fliggerty.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=2586

These are the errors I get:
Reply: rCould not insert characterServer responded with error: uID/PIN errorFailed to send data.Error: 'Failed writing body (-1 !=27)

The data.cne, activity.cne, mood.cne files do get created in the MWSE folder for me.

Pluto, would you mind sending me your save file and _data.cne files please? You can attach a rar to a PM at GHF.

I used the test esp:
My fl_st_file.txt says L
"I AM A WHEEL" showed twice for both of the other steps.

Here's what files have been written to my MWSE folder:
_activity.cne
_data.cne
_mood.cne
cne_debug
fl_nc_newcell
fl_st_file.txt
fl_st_file_2

Here's the fun part: now when I try to upload it gives me an upload error and tells me to make sure I have a pin/id.

i got strange errors in my warning.txt

Object "ulfgar the unending" not found for dialogue type Greeting
Info "EMPTY"

Object "bk_Sovngarde" not found for dialogue type Greeting
Info "EMPTY"

Object "ulfgar the unending" not found for dialogue type Greeting
Info "EMPTY"

Texture "Textures\_land_default.tga" count 3.

Texture "Data Files\Textures\menu_thin_border_bottom.dds" count 2.

errors seems to persist even while MWSE is open version Launcer 0.9.4.1

I'm using Morrowind only, no plugins, just my xbox character without it's expansions.
I'm gonna keep trying, though.

edit

morrowind crashes if i ignore the errors. I've managed to create a PIN and ID on GHF website.

edit # 2

errors do not show up while having both expansions, is it possible to make it so it doesn't?

Marbred, the problem is obvious to me now, though the cause isn't. The extended data is not being uploaded because your character's name is not being appended to the beginning of the file. That's how the uploader program determines which file to get it from. I'll make another test file to try and narrow down the cause.

Solidfire, MWSE requires both Tribunal and Bloodmoon as well as the latest patch. Essentially you need to have the GOTY version for any MWSE mod to function.
