Hello Cry-Adam, I Own a official Crysis2 server and we encounter a several problems with the server, related with players with the game hack/crack, this is the issue:

The hackplayer enter in the server with out name and ID, and that player usualy use cheats like aimbots, speedhack, wallhack, infinite energy, shooting wile cloack........... i cannot kick or ban that hacker because he dont show his name or ID on Rcon ( console or c2Rcon i use bouth ). When one of those player kill you they dont ahow name and when you kill them shows "unknown"

So the question is,Are crytek dev doing something for fix that? because thats a problem.
Or crytek is planing to launch the Crysis3 for Free download? and this is the 1st steep?

Because i buy you game and also paying an official server, and we need a solution for that, dont let us with no answer and tell us something cry-adam.

So what do you do when these cheaters enter your server. Can you not ban by IP or GUID? I ask because I don't know the server interface.

Well, when a player with no name enters and the server "still" runing because usualy the server crash. I have to Stop the server wait some minutes and them start again its not enough only reseting the server.

Also if the server crash you lose all the EXP.

I've seen several players with blank names in the killcam over the last few days. Their play was not particularly suspicious except for one who kept knowing I was coming around corners, ledges, etc. He died alot. That combination was suspicious.

Do you think the name might be built from high ASCII or backspaces? Its an old trick, but its just a variation on the (=IMAHAX=) ploy which shouldn't have worked....

Hi D4SD, If your an server admin you can use Rcon or c2EAI (Crysis2 Extrenal Administrator Interface), with that you can see the name of the player, IP, ID .....etc. with a normal player and if he have something ascii in the name "is not influential" because you can always able to see the player ID, abut with these players are using illegal copies of the game, playing on official servers and also cheating without being able to kick or ban because the dont show nothing on RCON console or c2EAI, it is very frustrating as you will understand.

NO. I'm a serveradmin and you CAN NOT see the guy in the c2EAI playerlist. The dude was like a ghost on our server.

Hi FragsALot87, you right, you cant see in c2EAI and also you cant see on Rcon console, i also speak time ago with the Iberbit server administrator and tell that problem, asking if thats a problem of our server or it happens to other servers. He talk with other companies and they have the same issue.

It happen in all other servers, players with ilegal copies of the game playing in our servers, and the most frustrating its about crytek with no asnwer at all what a shame.

thats happen every time one of those ghost players or player with some hack or cheat enter in the server. i can tell you, if you see a player with that, the best you can do is leave that server and you only going to lose the exp of that last round. If you still inside and the server crash you going to lose all the exp you get before (if you was 1hour, 2....... in the same server your going to lose all that exp you get from there).

I realy hoppe some one of Crytek see this and take some acctions for make the players with ilegal copies dont ruin us.

We pay the game, we deserb some answers...... but i looks like crytek only interestet in the money, launching a unfinished game

Read my 1st post. I said it has nothing to do with your topic. He just picks and chooses what he answers, that's it. You're asking a good question, that's why he won't answer.

Just to add, yea I think it's a problem. I don't run a server but have played against people that when they kill me the name is not there, or the kill cam never plays. Also happens when there are orbital strikes going on too causing lag.

Google for Crysis 2 aimbots and you'll see ones that hide their name and **** from the server :/

If you have nothing of value to contribute to the thread, please stop posting in it. It makes it more difficult to find valuable information when people spam threads.

The purpose of using appropriate titles is so that others experiencing similar issues can find them more easily and share their thoughts also. Calling the thread "HELP PLZ CRY ADAM" does not help others.

Wasn't possible before 1.8, now is possible and still happening.
