I think Todd made the comment that the living guards were guarding the fort.

Dont forget, you CAN see through him.

That appears to just be an illusion. Look closely and none of the objects behind him show up. He's just really white and blurry. Spells will do that to you.

okay if it was a spell (other than heal) why would he cast it after battle?

Why would it need to be anything other than a healing spell? Besides, haven't you noticed that NPCs do this all the time in Oblivion whenever a certain attribute is lowered?

Its a a cardboard cutout of the Nerevarine in a tuxedo. Someone just forgot to remove it from the set.

Obviously? This has nothing to do with attributes. I'm talking about NPCs casting spells to replenish health, stamina, etc.

it could be restore stamina but i doubt it will make you transparent

this is most likely if it isn't a ghost

It could be the guard's ghost, or maybe an ancestor ghost- was the guard a Dunmer?

Im reading you posts and I still think hes transparent. Technically translucent. You can see for sure though in my screenshots in the OP.

that blueish aura surrounding the guard is similar the aura that a restoration spell creates. having said that healing spells look diferent this time around. soo im not completely sure

I think the glowing may be a heal spell. It looks a little like he's holding up his hand to cast the spell.

And he was in a fight with a dragon, there's a pretty big chance he lost some health.

if you go to 1:15 you will see a healing spell, but we haven't seen it in third person so i dont know
