Ghost in NV? : Fallout: New Vegas

For those with the Wild Wasteland trait, upon entering the cave, an eerie noise and a special Pip-Boy icon will appear, denoting the presence of an Wild Wasteland event. Entering the cave the ghost of a prospector may be seen entering and running around until he is killed by one of the many rodents of unusual size or the player, who will receive 25xp upon the kill but the corpse will disappear soon after.

Does it mean a ghost or what?

No it's not, likely it's a buggy cave. I've seen him get killed by the Nightstalker outside that cave (Brock Flower Cave)

I wouldnt take the wiki to serious on certian preformance issues/vague 'easter eggs'.

I've seen some idiot say the 'Bravo Bravo Charlie the doctors on his way' bit on the NCR radio in the end battle is an easter egg to Dr. Who. People like to make alot of crap up on there. When it comes up to speculative material.
