Makes sense, TES fans generally want more TES in their Fallout

Would be interesting. If they gave us the "option" to become a ghoul in Fallout 4 I'd try it out for sure.
Well, if they did make it so the PC could be cured it better involve an epic quest saving a genius robo-brain from a heavily armed group of zealot assassins in control of the only cure(or something like that). I think they could make it interesting somehow.
Hmm. Maybe ghoulification could be healed if you could get a stem cell injection or something, which could replace the contaminated tissue.
Don't forget when you ghoul, radiation actually heals you.
And turning Feral is sort of a "losing your mind" situation.
In Vampire: The Masquerade, as an example, it talks of The Beast, the animal nature of the affliction living inside you. All Vampires...or at least most of them...seek to overcome that side of them by hanging on to their humanity. Those who give in to the best, become feral and animalistic, losing all concept of consequence and right and wrong, only satiating desire. That, I feel, is what a feral ghoul is. Normal Ghouls cling to their humanity, because, well at that moment, it's what they got.
A manageable condition, and many Ghouls have lived long happy lives. Some have even integrated into society with open minded folk. A lonesome road, but it's one that is not impossible to travel.
Stem cells are able to become any kind of tissue. If you injected them into a body part which was hurt, your body would form the cells you needed to become healthy again.
Me too! Although, I think I would rather the possibility of becoming a ghoul be based on random chance while being exposed to radiation. Maybe a 5% chance of becoming a ghoul, or a 5% chance an arm grows out of your head, lol... something like that.
Come to think of it, I think it would be excellent DLC content, if they will be pushing for it...
Given the circumstances of current technology in the universe, I can see some mad genius come along, -years later-, and succeed in curing ghoulification. That's the nature of technology in general though. What was considered impossible hundreds of years ago is now elementary today. Reflect this into FO and you've got the same thing going on.
Would be nice if Mr Pinkerton reappeared to heal ghoulification.
It has nothing to do with the thread, it was a homogenization of a strawman and ad hominem attempt, after he himself was calling out another person for strawmans in another thread
There are a lot of relics and reminders of the great war, Gizmo.
No thanks. Ghoulification ought to be permanent.
Ghoulification, if ever implemented, ought to close off certain quests and locations to the player, but also open up new avenues of play that would otherwise be closed off to us. Certainly the main quest should not be affected by this condition, but some of the (nonessential) side quests ought to have that restriction.
I don't foresee ghouls becoming a playable option anyways. But, beside that, not all ghouls are pre-war.
