Oh, God. I've been through this a million times, and hopefully some people know who I feel about these disgusting creatures.... well, that's kind of a hint, isn't it?
A lot of ghouls are hostile and very aggressive, i.e. Roy Phillips and the ghoul wastelanders they find at their village. And they have the cheek to call people bigots, when they go around insisting they aren't human... well don't expect us to treat you like one, then.
It seems to me they're always suspicious -- just look at Underworld; nearly every zombie bastard there wants you dead because they think you're going to try and kill them, or something.
There's a lot of self pitying with them, too. I don't give a toss if you look like a rotting corpse, get on with your life and get used to it -- just because I don't like you, doesn't mean everyone else feels the same. Jesus.
Bessie Lynn is one of the worst examples; 'Oh, I used to be pretty but now no one looks at me anymore!' Really, she's been a ghoul for how many years now? Accept who you are, you filthy vermin. That's not the worse part about her, though, but I'd rather Holy Assassin explains it...
Then you've got Gob. Seems like a nice enough bloke, but he always finds it during his time of the day to feel sorry for yourself. The more he moans and complains about Moriarty the less chance he's got of getting back to Underworld. He automatically thinks because you're a human, you're going to hit him or insult him. Well, I will now.
Oh, wait, he doesn't ever go back to Underworld! Go on, kill Moriarty, free Gob from the Irishman's clutches. What does the ghoul do? Takes over the saloon. What happened to 'I'm going back to my home if I am freeded'? Don't say 'he needed the money', as he'd inherit everything Moriarty earned. He went back on his promise... a promise his mother. Spineless wimp.
And how could I forget the ferals? You never know when a 'regular' might turn, and we shouldn't have to always be watching our backs.
If we want the country to be great again, these animals will have to go. They're a ticking timebomb, and that is not acceptable.
*insert Abomination cry/point* D8<
A LOT OF GHOULS? The only Ghouls I find aggressive are the Ferals. What can ya expect? They've LOST the will to reason! I would've gone Feral, too, if people didn't accept me for what I've turned in to! And Wastelanders; sure...there are a few occasional Ghoulish Wastelanders, but 'ey, as the saying goes, "the survival of the fittest". They're just doing what they must in order to survive. It looks BAD on their part, but you got'a do what you can, and that's kill or BE killed :/
As for the Ghouls in Underworld? If they WANTED you dead, why haven't they done it yet, huh? What's stopping them? It's a city versus one; they could easily KILL you. If Ghouls are as vicious as you portrayed them, then why is a city of Ghouls not willing to take out one lone little Wastelander? I find that peculiar, don't ya think? And Roy? Sure, he ACTS hostile towards you, but he never ATTACKS you. Hell,
Spoiler you help him in to Tenpenny Tower, either way, and he's your friend for life! He might kill the residents, but honestly? They deserve it for being ignorant bigots >:I
It's not the Ghouls' fault for turning in to what they are now. A million bombs were dropped on their heads; they didn't WANT to be exposed to the radiation and be turned in to what looks like half-rotting corpses. Underneath that post-necrotic flesh, a human being lives. The only reason they're looked upon as a different race, was because the people that HAVEN'T been exposed to so much radiation are too blind and ignorant to realize that Ghouls are humans, too; just terribly disfigured.
And Ghouls turning in to Ferals? I don't believe it's an over-time process that's BOUND to happen to them. It's not because of their, how should I say...'new biology' that they turn in to Ferals. It's a psychological thing. Being alone in a world that shuns you for what you've become? A monster? A zombie bent on consuming human flesh? And overtime, that human hate becomes your own personal hate, and it seethes down so deeply that it makes you go completely bonkers, and bent on obliterating any human that dares stray in your path? In truth, I don't blame Ferals for becoming Ferals :/ They might attack me, but at least I'm putting them out of their misery. I feel BAD for it, but...at least they're in a better place, rather than living in a world where they're hated just for their looks :/
