giant eagles

Post » Mon Jul 11, 2011 11:04 pm

in a mountainous region, i think it would be very cool to have giant eagles that live in eryies on the mountains. its AI would be very similar to dragons, without breathing fire and what not obviously.
it would be a noble creature and a very proud one at that. also it would fill up the sky a little more.

so do you think giant eagles would be a good edition to skyrim?

is there any mention of giant eagles in the lore?

edit: poll now added

I think there are enough similarities with middle-earth as it is. :P

Maybe giant ravens instead? Giant ravens would be cool.

The giant eagles were one of my favourite things in LOTR/The Hobbit. They'd be a cool addition I reckon.

Yay, although I don't think bethesda will do any flying creature besides dragon.
The AI would contrast so damn hard it would be ridiculous.

They should at least import some of the Dragon's AI like flying and stuff.

EDIT: (off topic) Bethesda should "unscripted" the normal humanoids AI, not dragons, 95% of the battles are against humanoids! First things first!

You can ride those as well - either eagles or gryhons does not bother me as I would be happy with both.

They are very cool but if you take a match to a feather you'll see why all the giant eagles went the way of the nirnian dodo. Or just left when the dragons started up a eagle rotisery house, fried eagle anyone?

Lol love how humans infect everything with our nonsense lol proud and nobel nahh more like caniving and predatory just like lions tigers and ppl lol.

Yes please. As impressive as they are, I hope dragons aren't the only flying monsters.

I'm generally against "giant" versions of anything. Giant spiders, giant rats, giant eagles... I don't really want any of it.

If Cliffracers can drive Dragons out of Morrowind then I will bet a 1000 septims that Giant Eagles could commit Dragon genocide.

The dragons couldn't compete for food with the huge numbers of cliffracers. Could you imagine Giant Eagles as common as cliffracers?

Actually I like the sound of it :
Eagles : "A lone dragon, and there's four of us, easy pickings boys."
Dragon : "FUS ROH DA."
Eagles : [Plummet]
Dohvakiin : "Finally, an enemy worthy of my respect."

Like Giant Eagles would die from a silly force push.
