Giant Spiders : V - Skyrim

I hope the spiders are stealth animals that sneak up on you, and you can tell they're in the area because of webbing which will slow you down so you cant run away! You'd really be on edge if you dont know where they are and kept having to check behind you. Then they sneak up and envenom you!

Yea i hated cazadores in New Vegas because they were fast, deadly and poisoned you easily. I actuaIly worried when they were near. I hope spiders are the same kind of threat.

If I got to choose, I'd rather not have spiders in ES V, but I will still play it if they're there and not too big and scary.

Clowns scare me.

I can pretty much guarantee you there will be no clowns in Skyrim.

Every modder should secretly add a new spider enemy in a random area of the game with every mod they release.

I hate spiders, I tried to mod out Radscropions in Fo3 but it just crashed the game, so I just learned to live with them.(by that I mean looking away and shooting in every direction possible until they're dead) I really hope someone mods spiders out of Skyrim.(HOPEFULLY Bethesda adds an option to remove spiders)

Yeah right, like Beth shall add a useless option to remove spiders from the game.

Any of you guys play Limbo? That game had a horrible spider in it. it scared me so much, and normally i dont mind spiders in videogames.

...orrrr, the annoying Bosmer will be a clown.... or worse yet, a mime.

I don't mind them. I can't stand spiders IRL, many people can't, which is why they make such a terrific enemy. That said, i don't want to see them in TES.

i dont like spiders/insects in real life but i can't see how you can be afraid of them in a video game. thats like being scared of radroaches in FO3...

If you don't have a phobia then you can't understand. It's not the same as merely being afraid of something.

Man you're lucky. I have a phobia of crustaceans and certain insects. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY MUDCRABS THERE ARE IN OBLIVION? And when I got to the part with the elytra in the Shivering Isles I had to use TCL to avoid them.

I liked the dwemer spiders in Morrowind, though. Especially when you got your own for the thieves guild in Ald Ruhn.

is this a joke?,i have a phobia on centipede and millipedes and i can play fine whit them on games.

i only was scared of spiders on games wend i was a kid and played Resident Evil 2 but got over it quickly.

I'm so glad they are in, to me, for Oblivion. I only missed two monsters, the first was dragons, I thought they fit the game perfect being a magical game based on Medieval times. Then there was giant spiders, I always liked(in a hateful way) Spiders, I really dislike spiders, they're filthy evil little bastar*s Imo, but that's why I like them in games, they seem like good enemies, Spiders are one of the good predators in the world. Same with Snakes haha, where are you on those bethesda?

you could keep telling yourself they are pixels, OR try to face your fear head on, I used to have arachnophobia but I got over it by actually handling a small spider, I still won't touch the huge ones but if I see one I just don't freak out like I used to, now if I see a spider I just put an empty glass of water on them then scoupe them up with a paper and throw them out side

, no need to kill the poor things.

we moved near the wilderness so I had to face my fear because spiders are EVERYWHERE, now I actually like them because they eat all the other annoying pests hehe.

It will be really REALLY hard to do it, but I know you can, cause I did, you won't be petting spider mind you! but you will be able to withstand their presence at least.

I must admit some creatures are just butt ugly, but I' sure they say the same thing about us:

Human: EWWWWW omg look at that thing its the ugliest thing I have ever seen, its has EIGHT legs...

Spider: EWWWWWW omg look at that thing it has TWO eyes, I think I'm gonna throw up all those flies I drank today...

I have arachnophobia too and am exactly like you.It so svcks because i can't play Dragon Age,Mass Effect,Limbo and a lot of other game.But i really hope that i will play Skyrim because is like just excellent game :laugh:

Spiders scare the crap out of me(I have had nightmares), and I hope they are in this game.

Any game that can bring out an emotional reaction is a good game.

Agreed, but I'm not afraid of spiders(arthropods in general). I kill them all the time, but I HATE the way they look. Killing them is no problem because they are so small, but when they are giant sized and you can see their eyes and fangs,, *shudder* it just grosses me out as in looking at something disgusting. Doesn't bring out the right emotions for me :yucky: I can just replace them with like, a troll model or something(assuming there will be a construction kit of sorts.)

Which would work if spiders actually had a brain or cns...which they don't.

I will personally be purging them from the leveled lists or replacing the meshes, whichever strikes me as simpler. If I share it/someone doesn't beat me to it, it'll be the first Elder Scrolls mod I release.

I think spiders can be cute sometimes. That one in the Screeny looks fun to fight.
