Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 8:12 am

Hi Leute,

Thanks for help DarkAnubis,
that′s a good site and there are many good rcon_commands.
But now I have a problem, I can′t login to my server.

The command is:
rcon_connect addr:(IP) ........ port:64100 pass:******

And now nothing happens, can′t start game or see status or kick player.

I will look on this site for help or ask the hoster where the problem is.

Or maybe another one can help me?

on the server there must be a specific startstring:

Crysis2DedicatedServer.exe -sv_bind %i -g_gamespy_unique_nick %account_name -g_gamespy_password %account_key -net_lobby_gamespy_online_port 64000 -root c:\gameservers\%u\Crysis2 +sv_maxPlayers %s -g_gamespy_server_region 65536 -g_officialserver 0 +rcon_startserver port:64100 pass:YOURPASSWORD

If that is missing your server won't know that you are allowed to access..

evtl. you have to change the string but this is a copy of the gamed.de server version..

Sorry but I can′t see the files, because the Hoster is 4NetPlayers and there is only a webinterface to make the settings.
Ivé heard that the tool rconnect works with Crysis 2.
I′ve tried it and get always an errormessage.
Then i′ve tried CryRcon, now i can see the server and the userlist, but I can′t do any command.
When i use the serverport 64100, the tool crashs with an errormessage, und with the port 64101 comes the message "connection failed", although i′m connect with it.

Have anybody the same problem or the solution for it?
I were very happy if somebody can help me, THX

Soooooo, after server-restart i can connect to my server with "Rconnect". Now i can see all serversettings.
But now i have another problem. When i klick on "users", the playerlist is empty.
And when i see no players, i can′t do any command like kick or ban.
But when i join myself, i can see me in the playerlist and i can kick myself.
Has anybody an idea where the problem is?

PS: sry if my english is too bad :(

Still the same problem, can′t join with any servertool to my server.

I′ve heard that since the last serverupdate you can use the console and navigate the server.
But when i try to connect to my server there comes the message:

RCON: connecting to server
RCON: sixin failed - failed connecting to server
rcon_disconnect

Is that still a problem of Crysis or a probelm of the serverhoster?
My hoster is 4NetPlayers. I′ve phoned with them and they told the servers are right patched and that′s still Cryteks fault, but i don′t believe them.
Has anybody made experience with 4NetPlayers or other german hosters?

Were happy about an answer, THX :)

THX

Have the same problem with 4netplayer ... did you or anybody else find a solution?

Tried it with "Crysis 2 Pro - External Admin Interface 0.2" -> the only message I got is "Cannot connect to server" ???

GamePort: 64000
Http-Port: 64200

Are the ports correct?

Did nobody else have this problem?

EDIT: OK, solved the problem ... with 4netplayer servers you have to use the following ports:

GamePort: 64100
Http-Port: 64101

This tool works fine ... now it's possible to kick/ban cheaters .... YEAH
