Give us r_motionblur back!

Post » Mon Jun 29, 2009 10:39 pm

Alright. So not everyone likes to feel like every time they turn, they break a sound barrier. Not only does it break immersion for some of us, it's not a lot of fun shooting at Flash Gordon. Please, let us disable motion blur. Not everyone wants it. Absolutely wrecks the game for me. And I'm sure re-enabling the option to disable motion blur isn't a six day process.

It also gives me a giant migraine, can't play for more than an hour or so. So yeah either the console command or an option would be good >.>

add this after the " on your crysis 2 shortcut or to your steam launch options

+cl_fov=59 +r_DrawNearFoV = 59 +pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov = 59 +r_MotionBlur=0 +g_skipIntro=1

change the fov to what suits your screen viewing distance etc

Being a console gamer as well, I guess I'm accustomed to it. LOL.

Actually, just create an autoexec.cfg in your crysis folder. Then add r_motionblur 0 in it.

This bypasses the locked commands, and you'll be able to turn motionblur off completely.
