I believe bethesda should give us the option to learn this shout , it would be awesome to be able to revive dragons and maybe persuade them to join us , this shout is already in game but we cant seem to learn it ... maybe we can get it added in a patch or future dlc?

That'd be cool. I'd also like the meteor shout.

Boy and we thought people avoided us when we had an undead thrall following us.

You kill dragons and absorb their souls,How will the shout bring something that is properly dead now back to life?

...I've asked myself the same thing after I raise a corpse who's soul was put in a soul gem. And immedaitely used to recharge a weapon.

And wouldn't it require a Dragon soul to bring it back to life? That kind of defeats the purpose of bringing things back to life.

WELL...Maybe there's a difference to raising a corpse with the original soul...and merely re-animating...
Because somehow I doubt the Skeletal Dragon in Labyrinthian was risen by Alduin.

Necromancing draws spiritual energy from the Dreamsleeve. It doesn't need to be the original soul.

With dragons, their souls are left inside their bodies when killed by a non-dragonborn. The skeletal dragon was probably just reanimated bones, not necessarily an actual dragon anymore.

Once you take a dragon's soul, the dragon's not getting back up. A shout that temporally gives the soul back could be interesting.

I don't pretend to know how soulmancy in Tamriel works.

Many people already have an abundance of dragon souls that aren't used to unlock new shouts. Those could be used to put into the dragon's bodies.
