Of all beasts roaming
our world, why so concerned o'er
one renegade imp?

Stupid peasant boy
Found a dragonling egg, hatched.
Now I must save him.

Hex editor used,
changed detail to FF, wow!
Now I can see far.

His name wouldn't have been "Eragon", would it?

Surely not, or I would have let the bugger get eaten.

Hate for Eragon? I admit it's not my cup of tea, but it doesn't seem worth it to me.

Harry Potter and the [blankety-blanks], now there's a book worth hating. Pick any one, they're all awful. (The movies are moderately redemptive, if profoundly soporific.)

No, no hate for Eragon, just not my cup of tea either. Hence me not bothering to rescue him.

Hate for Harry Potter? Now that is sacrilege, those are really good books. I love them. The movies are terrible; of course, ALL book-based movies terrible (save for The Princess Bride).

De gustibus non disputandum est. :)

I can think of a few movies that do O.K. by the book (which is not what movies need to do anyway), but I will say that while The Princess Bride was a good movie, it was a way better book. And I saw the movie before I read the book. (If you're going to read it, be sure you get the Morgenstern original! ;))

Actually, I'm almost done with the book; so far I am loving it. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the Morgenstern original in english, so we had to make do with the "good parts" version :)
