I'm glad that Power Armour finally looks like Power Armour

Oh, no you're right xD I just checked which brings me to my next hope, we get the ability to implant an on-board computer that does certain things, much like the MP-47 medical armor or the Stealth Suit from Old World Blues.

You can see most of the parts (not all at once) in the e3 gameplay.

We get a different variation of the T-45 too,T-45B not D, not sure what the differences are, I can't see much of a change in the appearance so probably something different under the hood.

I wonder how the power armor customization will fit in with durability and repair.

The T-45b was one of the earlier types of T-45, which were powered by energy cells. This could be the one we see in the gameplay preview.

Me too I'm glad PA looks like PA. I always wondered how the BoS put them on. I guess the valve behind the T-51b's should have been a giveaway.:P

Honestly with this system I wouldn't mind if enclave armor came back just NO ENCLAVE coming with it.

I wonder will power armor training(if we can do it) effect how much it weigh or how quick we can move in it.

I figured since power armor is a big deal and our character is a veteran, well, put two to two.

I think it will. I think the armor will be pretty tough to move around in untrained. So it should effect weight and speed.

That's a good point and could be the case. I was just wondering because I remember the BoS leader in NV saying power armor is extremely heavy to those without training.

Everything about the power armor concept is looking awesome, it's the best new feature about FO4 that I absolutely love!

I just hope that it won't be breaking as fast as NV armors, I wonder how those HP values are supposed to work as 75HP is practically nothing at endgame.

I'd imagine we will.

Mostly due to how they presented it. As it does not look like we can craft it (I hope to hell we can't or at least require a max repair level & proper tooling.) but instead replace pre-assembled parts. Such as armour plated limbs, torso, & helmet.

Given that and they small amount of Enclave parts they showed I'd imagine we'll be able to get our hands on that technology as it most likely has been broken down & sold to various owners through trading caravans.

It will be nice to see if we can modify the on board power plant & tweak the system to work more efficiently though. If not I'd imagine a lore friendly power armour modification will be made relatively quickly to make this the devastating beat of a tank it is.

Wow, its been a couple of years since I posted on here. Anyway, I absolutely love the redone power armor. They're a new game mechanic by themselves and are almost a cross between a vehicle and armor. It changes how you move, where you can go, who you can take on, etc. I have a feeling this game is going to be an absolute masterpiece.

As long as I can paint flames on my power armor like a hotrod, I'll be happy. ;)

I am interested in the new T 60 power armor...

Spoiler
http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/6/6e/E3_trailer_T-60.png/revision/latest?cb=20150616141955

Although it seems similar to T45d, especially the helmet, with a more streamlined chest plate...

What makes me wonder the most, is that it has many variants like T60b, T60c, T60d, T60e, and T60f.

Oh, I can't wait to see how the variants look like! ^^ (Although on a whole T51B still looks the best)

And speaking about models, will the different models have different stats like in the previous games, like improved rad resistance for that model, +1 CHR for T51b? Or it will be like the base stats are different for each part from each model?

I really like the fact that PA actually functions like PA. I.E. bullets seem to just ricochet off of it. All the lore describes its users as being walking tanks, and yet it didn't feel that way in the previous iterations.

I like the idea. I just feel like Power armor being godlike/powerful is going to be a cop-out, and make the game easy-peasy when you can get it.

...

Haven't been here in a while, did a little look around...

I can't be the only one thinking that someone is going to make a proper Iron Man mod with how the Power Armor system works, right?

Outside of that; I am stupidly excited how Power Armor is this time around.

Damn you. Now I have the Megas XLR theme stuck in my head. Paint jobs are an option, so it's a distinct possibility that you'll be able to paint flames on your power armor. They have one called "Atom Cat", so flames aren't too far out there.
