I'm glad that Power Armour finally looks like Power Armour

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 4:12 pm

Now the jump jets has an know weakness, they can sometimes activate and burn until out of fuel.

Had been an awesome way to take out somebody in power armor with an sneak attack, You sneak up behind and jam the jump jet at full power, enemy fly up for 20 seconds and then fall down.

Obviously is less effective indoor :)

Now, if only our jet pack fuel runs out in mid air...

That would really make us think twice before attaching it

They should have a mechanic where using the jumpjets indoors makes you go through the ceiling and break your neck. XD

I really wish they allowed you to see parts of your body in first person. It would be awesome in combination with the new power armor system. I guess it does not matter that much since it's probably gonna be modded into the game eventually.

It looks like it uses action points, now if you uses the jet drug it might give you an interesting option, you burn upward and forward making you go ballistic, hopefully you have build up enough AP to slow down and land safely. If not it will go as the mage in Morrowind :)

Deep strike confirmed.

Now all we need is a shock suspension attachment that allows us to land safely from the height... hard.

It would be even funnier that we make the ground crack or even a small crater when we land XD

Please no Enclave coming back.

Maybe scavenge the parts from a crashed vertibird like the one in the south-west of the Mojave.

I like the look of the PA by the way, but I'm afraid it will turn out too much like a killstreak call of duty thing. Let's hope they don't make it too easy to access.

They don't need to make a dramatic return to have a few units around the area.

Arcade Gannon turns up as an old man with a giant beard selling Enclave PA pieces for shiny nickels.

Make it happen Bethesda.

I'm imaging a cutscene where the Enclave returns to the wasteland with a squadron of over a thousand vertibirds. All hope of defeating them is lost when suddenly...a flock of large, mutated birds migrating back North due to the changing seasons gets caught in their propellers, downing 98% of the Enclave's vertibirds. The rest are promptly eviscerated by deathclaws or stung to death by cazadores.

In all fairness, many signs point towards the Enclave being around. Aside the actual power armor (saw the helmet I am sure of it) there are the air vehicles... vertibirds (or what they are called). So you might see a remaining group around. That is unless the game takes place before the events that crippled the Enclave.

You did, in fact, see Enclave armor. However, it was labeled as X0 armor, rather than Enclave armor. Perhaps the designs were somehow acquired by The Institute?

Or their toys have simply been looted by other factions.

The eastern BoS and the NCR both use vertibirds taken from the Enclave, for example.

The way PA "felt" in FO3 and NV was always an annoyance for me, i just felt like i was wearing cheap plastic because it didnt change how i moved. Now however we get what seems to be the ultimate interpretation how it is supposed to function. Now my Rogue Enclave soldier can finally walk the walk with loud, crushing footsteps

Is there a difference between the two? Sorry, I honestly can't remember.

Edited: just checked the wiki, the MKI and MKII look identical.

if watch the microsoft trailer closely deathclaw hits him ONCE completely shatters the armour/hp on his left arm.

looks like they did whole bunch of dev cheats at one point ammo counter stops moving and the arm gets magicly repaired in middle of shooting a deathclaw in the face.

also power armour using foes are gonna be tuff this time around instead of just being tri beam lazer headshot bait/anti material rifle bait
