Glitch piper not talking to me : Fallout 4

so after completing the quest "reunions" i told nick that i wanted to go do the quest "Dangerous Minds" with piper. When i did that she started walking back to the red rocket truck stop, and stopped opening the dialogue choices when i talk to her, she basically just acts like a civilian. when i press the button to talk to her she just says stuff like "Nothing stays hidden forever.." also i have already completed the quest dangerous minds and several others in the main story, and it lets me chose other followers.

I had this same issue, and also have a solution that you can try. It should work for every follower if you encounter this problem again in the future.

1) Open up your console (`~ key)

2) Click on Piper.

3) Type removefac 00075D56

You should now be able to speak with Piper again as normal.
