I am unable to change to third person view with the LB button nor am I able to wait using the Select button.
It happened near the end of the game, around the last level I think.

I have tried everything! Changing the controls doesn't help, like putting 'change view' to the Triangle button, so it must be a glitch with the game forgetting what 'wait' and 'change view' are.

These buttons work if I create a new character but I have put A LOT of time in to this game on my main and reached the highest level (before the expansion pack).
I waited for the new patch and figured that fixed it so I bought the new expansion pack and was so excited to play it, but after realising these controls didn't work I stopped playing the game completely because character appearance and armour would be useless if I couldn't see it.
I also use the 'wait' button a lot too. Well, used to.

Please help me! I am not the only person with this glitch preventing me from enjoying the game!
It's a glitch that makes all your hard work completely and utterly useless. I can not enjoy the game or play the new expansion pack until I can use two of the most important options in the game for me!

I know 360 users have been having big problems with the latest patch and they have addressed they will be fixing them. I haven't heard as much trouble with the PS3 patch and I haven't heard them address it. It may be unrelated to the update, did you try rebooting the game? I've had glitches where my third person view was messed up and rebooting the game fixed it.

Well it's been broken since before the first update, so yes, many times. Tried everything!

Have you tried clearing the game cache...start the game, hold down LB, RB, and X until you see the Bethesda logo. If that doesn't work and you tried everything else...the only option remaining would be to start a new game. You should of reloaded a save when it first happened. You gotta watch what your doing in this game.

I think the point is the people shouldn't have to 'watch out' in a game that cost ￡40 (British Pounds), god knows how much you guys paid for it in the States!

I am not having ago at anyone, In all fairness they are dealing with the problems mostly, (better than Sony are, though there isn't really a lot of comparison). I love this game and there will always be faults and glitches, thats just part of gaming now, the most anoying thing is that some people will have a problem and others won't.

I have cleared my cache, yes. That was the first thing I did. ):

I have about a hundred saves on that character, all of them are bugged. I didn't realise I couldn't use the third person until a while after it happened.
I am EXTREMELY careful with these things. My character means a lot to me and I've dodged hundreds of lethal glitches.

Pleeeaase help me! I've tried everything!
I can't create a new character and just have it become glitched again. Bethesda has to fix it.

Will this not be fixed? >: I can't just stand around having wasted all that time and money.
