I was play fallout new vegas and I talked to Capt Hsu before defusing the bomb (because of other reasons) I went to the monorail right before entering I popped a turbo and after entering I popped another, which gave me enough time to get to the Monorail DEFUSE THE BOMB, which I have tried both ways, And IT SHOWED COMPLETED DEFUSING THE BOMB. And It still blows up and I have to end up reporting it destroyed. HOW ****ING LAME. This one glitch has pissed me off, though not nearly as much as the Keyboard locking up(cept for a certain amount of keys) not getting into vats etc (PC VERSION). I hope this will bring an update(though not anytime soon i know).

There is your mistake you should have gone directly to the bomb. Its scripted to go off if you waste-time by talking to Hsu first. Its not a glitch but intentional but by pure luck you made it to the bomb in time when you weren't supposed to.

Yes, you screwed up by talking to Hsu first.

Hmm, this happened to me as well. It actually is a bug, because regardless of whether or not you are supposed to go to Hsu first, it allows you to get to the train, find the bomb, diffuse it and then gives you the message that it was successfully diffused.

Then the monorail blows up anyway . . .

Yes, the bug is that you're able to disarm the bomb at all after talking to Hsu. IMO the monorail should blow up in the middle of your dialogue with Hsu if you choose to waste time talking to him.

If you talked to the guy who planted the bomb before and told him you suspected someone was using the radio tower he won't radio the plans when you sneak into the tower. Basically the only way to complete the quest after that is to fail it (let the bomb go off).

I found this pretty dumb.

The only way,finish eavesdrop,My problem is,Curtis won't talk,he just stands there.....Use restrequest 000e790f,not work..anybody please help
