I was one of the very first people to report the SAVE ERROR/DLC corruption glitch :cryvaultboy: . For the most part after reading these forums I think this glitch happen when you start the COME FLY WITH US QUEST, helping the ghouls get into space. I have not once encountered anyone who got it without starting that quest. I deleted my old data and started playing again and skipped that quest by going straight to the strip and am currently at 27 hours with NO problems, not even the regular glitches. :thumbsup:

If you got this glitch try to narrow down what you did, where you did it, and when you saved.

I got it after completing that quest so I loaded a save before I completed it (which worked fine, as I was able to load it). I then got it again after exploring vault 34 and grabbing a bunch of loot. I was able to load a save on the strip about 2 hours before that point. It's not confined to "Come Fly With Me", I'm sure of it.

Ok. That helps a little at least. The more we know the closer we are to figuring this out.

Come Fly With Me was one of the first major quests I did (first achievement quest after Kick in the Head) and I have experienced no major bugs, and nothing that wasn't fixed with a quick restart. I do have the preorder DLC, with only the canteen still in the inventory. However, I have not been to the Strip yet, which many seem to have issues with. It seems likely to be some obscure combination of factors, that ties into this quest somehow. If it helps, I can tell you that I finished the ghouls in space quest without starting any new ones, or traveling any further than the quest required.
