I've just built the teleported and now my objective is to speak with desdemona. However it won't let me do this, it just says talk and the she speaks about random stuff and not about the quest. Anyone else encountered this problem?

Where is the marker?

You also need to talk to Tinker Tom, who will tell you to stand on the platform, and then Des will give you something.

I have spoken to Tom, but it's the same case as desdemona. And the marker is on desdemona.

Previous save I suspect, or grab the console code to advance the quest.
