Glitch where kids wont move to new house after...

Post » Mon May 06, 2013 10:19 pm

My wife started attacking me for no reason in my new heartfire house (most Southern one Falk...). In an act of self defence I killed her and asked both my kids to move to the new house that looks over the back of whiterun. Those kids say they will meet me there but never show up instead hang around with the corpse in the other house. just to be sure I reloaded my last save and the same thing happened. Is this a glitch or is your virtual wife meant to kill you if you neglect her and leave her with the kids too much? Anyway Im away to sort out those vampires just purchased the DLC yesterday.

this post should be moved to the Hearthfire forums instead...

But anyways, go do some quests or whatnot, let some time pass and your (ex-)wive's corpse disappear, and hopefully the kids will eventually move

Yep,
Your virtual wife isnt supposed to do that.
Unless you hit her, and/or child abuse.
If your children say Leave me alone or something like that, you probaly hit one and your wife didnt like it.

I came home from the morrowind island with the bug looking follower. She didn't like it. The kids keep saying o.k I will meet you there.

What, you kill their mom in front of them and you think your kids will shrug that off? Lol. But thanks for the warning. I won't bring back bug boy, whoever that is.

Fixed rare issue where children would get psychological trauma after experiencing domestic violence.

now that would be an interesting note in a patch's fix list .. anyone not familiar with the Hearthfire DLC would prolly get rather confused of that

Just for fun I killed my "husband" because I hate people saying stupid dog. Tried to kill the kids earlier but can't. Also killed the bard. These are all different days. Anyway, after killing hubby, one of the girls said, oh what happened, so I moved in close to her and she just said mama like always and they went about their business. No consequences. Of course I reloaded. Somebody has to stay home and cook stupid pies for the girls.
