Dog/god either one does not talk to me after I have gotten the other two characters to their places from the fountain. He won't talk to me as either of the two characters, and I can't talk to him to tell him he needs to follow me to postition at the switching station

This is my current problem at the moment and I have no other way to fix I try to push him but he runs back to the same spot. I managed to beat the game the first time with no issues so why is this happening.

This is where I am currently stuck.. I can't get dog to do anything. The other 2 r in their positins for the opening but dog does not respond to make him follow..

I think I'm having the same problem. I was able to get Dog to the fountain (played the holotape at the jail, off he went) got all three characters recruited and at the fountain, then elijah gave me the three quests to get them each in position. First off, I try to talk to Dog, no matter what I do he just mumbles that he's hungry ...no actual dialogue begins, regardless of playing either of the dog/god holotapes. So, I go and take Christine to her spot and Dean to his spot, succesfully finish those quests and come back to the fountain with just one left to go and..... no dice. No matter what I do (reload game from earlier spot/try again/ play each holotape etc) Dog just sits at the fountain and mumbles. Looks like the game's over for me at this point!

Haha, same thing but only with dean...

HAd same problem...played three times.the third time, I played the halo tape as I approached the cell door,not giving dog/god time to talk first.God spoke not dog and we left together.I'd save before approaching cell door.try,re-try until you are sure it is god speaking and look for the command wheel that actually allows you to talk to the companion.
