Good morning. I hope this is the right forum for this. If not, I apologize, but there's a bug that's really annoying me.

I have two Superior Ebony swords with the exact same fire enchantment. They're identical in every way save for the names: one is "Ebony Fire" while the other is "Ebony Flame", the idea being that I could dual-wield them. However, upon favoriting them and trying to equip one, there's a bug. Depending on which I equip first, both then become either "Ebony Fire" or "Ebony Flame". The name won't switch back and then when I try to equip the second sword, it just unequips my first. The only way around this is to open up my main inventory and to equip the weapons from there.

Help? Known bug? Or something Beth just needs to address? Is there a specific place around here for bug reports?

known bug, Dont upgrade weapons ( same weapons) and dual wield them, favorite menu glitches out

Yea thats a bug. Weapons stack or not based on characteristic but not on name. If the two weapons are identical they stack and thus become the same name. To make them stay separate in favorites you need to make the enchantment different. I think you could make the fire enchant 1 less damage on one and it would work, but I havent tested that so save first before you try it.

Solution I found was when I was putting two enchantments onto my weapons, if they were the same enchantments I was putting on. I would put one in the order 1 2, then the other in the order 2 1 (the numbers being the enchantments).
