Hi

Sorry to appear with yet more problems!

I’ve left Morvunskar for the time being and moved on to another side quest I’d previously activated. This time I’m trying to complete “Return to your roots” and get to Sinderon’s cave in Blackreach. Even though I search his skeleton, it doesn't confirm that part of the quest has been completed and then invites me to find the Crimson Nirtroot or whatever it’s called.

Instead I go outside and when I pick up the said root I get the added insult of being told that I’m overweight!!

I’ve activated the quest in the log so don’t understand why this should be happening.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Read Sinderion's field journal.

the crimson Nirnroot adds to weight because they are not classed as quest items.

The game not doing what you expect isn't necessarily a glitch.

Activating a quest in the journal usually puts a marker on the map and a direction indicator on the compass. It doesn't have any physical effect on the quest itself.
