Hi, I searched the forum and I didn't find anything on this particular issue. Hopefully someone can direct me there or answer my question.
Fawkes has glitched out and disappeared. I tried climbing Lucas Simms' house and jumping out of megaton. I walked towards Springvale school and didn't find the patch of land that Fawkes should be on. I did find Lucy West out there, but she was much further north than Springvale. I wasn't actually trying to find her...
Usually when Fawkes has disappeared he does come back, but this has been longer than usual. I finished the main quest and started Broken Steel and thats when he disappeared. I'd like Fawkes back, because he's awesome but at the very least I'd just like another companion. No one can join my party because Fawkes hasn't died (never got the notice that he did).

well, I found him. He was stuck inside the infirmary of the Citadel. I managed to get him out but it seems he physically got stuck there and didn't follow me when I fast traveled.
