Global Damage Settings

I've been testing taylorsd's awesome CombatEnhanced-Package http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6860 and love every feature but one. Damage is 2.5x normal, which I find a bit high. How would I go about adjusting that? I assume that would be through the global damage settings, but I don't know how to do that.

I would very much appreciate any help on this matter. Please bear in mind that I have no modding experience, so answers will need to be very specific.

Easy way to do it is to use FWE 5.0. Can be configured ingame from the menu.

Yeah, though you don't want to use Combat Enhanced Package together with FWE. One or the other, not both, since FWE already does everything that's included in CEP.

Does the FWE 5 configuration affect creature damage also, or only weapons?

Good question, nobody has tested the unarmed damage calculations properly. The globaldamage multiplier does increase damage if an enemy wears an unarmed weapon(like a powerfirst), but I cant say for sure if it affects something like Deathclaw damage.

I doubt it. Using FWE at default settings I need to get bitten a lot of times when fighting molerats before I die. And that's with a level 1 character with 180 hp's and no armor.
