Global values for accuracy?

Post » Sun Apr 18, 2010 3:37 am

^Title
I'm looking for a mod or method to globally adjust each of the PLAYER'S weapons to be more accurate. I'm running FWE/FOOK (in addition to many others). I want to reduce the bullet spread of every weapon without adjusting each individual gun. Suggestions?

PS: Still on the lookout for a skull cap (AKA beanie) If anyone knows where to find one that would be just dandy

Accuracy is a weapon trait, modified by the players skill. You could artificially inflate the players relevant weapon skill... but, I am not sure there is a global modifier involved.

Thats what I expected, but it was worth a shot.
The skull cap is still unfound though :(
How can I be a true survivor of the wastes without that staple?

You can add a perk to the player that reduces weapon spread.

Yes, this would work pretty well. There's an entry point for "Calculate Gun Spread" that you can use. Remember, lower values mean less spread. FWE 5.0's Control Panel will also allow you to adjust a few different accuracy related gamesettings in-game, although the changes work gobally and will affect NPC's as well as the player.

Well, I made the perk, even overdid it a little to test (multiply by 0.25). I added the perk on level up, but I can't really tell a difference. Ideas?

Here's the problem, and I quote from the Geck website: "The gun spread value used by the game engine will never be less than the "Min Spread" value specified on the weapon form for the equipped weapon." So the best I can get it to is the min spread, which is still way too much :(. How can I circumvent this?
