If there were gnomes, I would have to kill them all; so you'd end up with no gnomes in the end anyway. ZOS heard I was going to be playing and decided to cut out the middle man and just not include them in the first place.

They're called Rieklings in TES lore. Unfortunately you are unable to play one yourself. But you will most likely find them in the game.

the hell with gnomes.. I must confess though I am really sad ESO takes place after the Dwemer disappearance.

Im kinda hoping they somehow find there way into this game at some point. I really wanna see dwarves but I realize they are supposed to be rare.

maybe Zenimax can implement some super epic quest that allows you to unlock a dwemer character option.
I would be all for that.

but the quest has to take like forever and be super super hard.

Kinda like getting the green fire for warlocks in WoW but like twice that hard.

Most wouldn't bother and those dedicated few would be rewarded and I think it would limit the amount of Dwemer.
