Goat bug?

Post » Sat May 31, 2014 4:33 am

Okay I made a goat through console commands in PC player.placeatme something like that and when I placed the goat I tried to kill it for the goat hide but I just can't kill it I used magic and power attacks everything, but the goat won't die still. Does anyone encountered this? I even tried using the kill command at him by clicking at the goat and type kill but it still won't die and I have no more further save before it happened. How can you fix it?

I'm not sure how to fix it, but if you are doing this just for the goat hide then you can always add simply add a goat hide to your inventory through the console.

Anyway, there are goats everywhere in this game; no need to spawn one. No need to play with console commands either. All you risk to do is break your game. And you'll come here asking for help afterwards...

Spawning a Goat will not break your game, neither will adding items... It sounds like you must have done something very silly in the past to warrant this level of fear with the console.

No, never. But I see the results here. People screwing their game and counting on others to fix it. We don't have time for this.

Then don't help them, and ignore the threads. They need to learn from their mistakes, just as I did when I first played a TES game  there's nothing wrong with making mistakes, as long as you learn from them~ *and keep backups of save files *

Removing the use of the console because a few idiots refuse to learn from their mistakes is a little over the top.
