Where i can find Goat Horns for my house? Bits and Pieces in Solitude doesn't have any of them nor the killed goats. Please help me experienced players.

There is a chance any general merchant will have them, so you just have to keep checking until you find some. The Khajit caravans will also have them at times. Sorry, but sometimes it seems nobody has them, and other times everybody does. Just keep trying.

Some goats you kill will have them, and most general traders will have them, so do the rounds before you start the first house. By the time you finish it hopefully some would have restocked. If you take your time and do not rush off building multiple houses straight away, you should have plenty of time to stock up on supplies. if you are in a hurry and want three houses super fast, you will possibly be hunting goats to get enough horns for the last house.

Tip: Reload if the general goods merchant doesn't have them in stock but do this BEFORE you buy anything!

I've found this trick to be helpful in those "I must have them NOW" phase. ;)

In my game, the general goods merchant in Whiterun always seems to have them in stock.

There is also a glitch in the game where some stores won't stock the items needed to create your house furnish and then your just sol like on my Bosmer where only two stores had the horns, glass and never restocked @_@

goats can be hunted for horns, but what about glass? Is that buy only item or can you find it in the 'wilderness'?

This doesn't appear to work with goat horns.

when I roam the roads for hutning or a missing, specially where fornsworn live there are lots of goats in the wild, killing them you can loot their horns.

Looking in the CK the Horns were added to a new levelled list that has a 50% chance of giving the horn and used it in various places

- 1st all goats on death have a 50% chance of spawning one

- 2nd there is a small vendors chest used in 2 locations that can spawn up to 8 (50% chance on each one) that was given to 2 merchants
- Brandish in Riften Plaza and Niranye in Windhelm

- 3rd There is a vendor chest with a chance to spawn up to 15 (again 50 % chance on each ) that was given to 8 merchants
- Solitude Bits and Pieces
- Markath Arnleif and Sons Trading
- Riften Pawned Prawn
- Windhelm Sadris Used Wares
- Riverwood Riverwood Traders
- Falkreath Grey Pine Goods
- Winterhold Ranmirs House (Birna)
- Whiterun Belethars General Goods

I have not counted the Goat Horns needed, but you will need a bunch for each house. I have more sconces in these houses than I have light fixtures in my home.

I've not had a problem with it, though it may take a few attempts.

They're about as rare as fire salts at potion shops.

However if you hunt in an cell you visited before installing Heartfire the goats has their old drops.

Wouldn't it still benefit you to kill them so that the next time you go there you will get Goat 2.0 instead of Goat 1.0?

There is a mountain pass south-southeast of Whiterun that seems to pretty commonly have goats lurking in it.

I haven't found goat horns anywhere but as loot from goats and in general merchandise shops.

I was, however, very surprised to find a couple of pieces of glass as loot in a dresser in one of the places you visit for a certain museum-related quest.

Occasionally I see goats drop them.
I usually go to the Riverwood Trader for this stuff.
