I don't recall if it was officially confirmed or not, but I'd say that yes, we can jump. The fact that it hasn't been mentioned is most likely just because jumping is probably something you can sort of take for granted is in, and the fact that acrobatics is not in doesn't mean anything, because you don't need to have a skill for jumping to be able to jump. In fact, the Elder Scrolls is probably the only RPG series I've played that has included such a skill, yet it's not the only one to include jumping (Fallout 3 and New Vegas, for example, let you jump, but don't make it a skill.) no skill for jumping just means you don't have a skill to control how far or high you can jump, presumably meaning it's a fixed distance that is placed in some balanced range that's high enough to be useful but not unreasonably high. I've never been concerned that jumping wouldn't be in the game because I really don't see Bethesda removing it, and the lack of a skill for it doesn't make any difference, not everything you can do in an RPG necessarily has a skill governing it.
A dev already confirmed jumping, Ala making sure players can jump across roofs
I guess that answers the question, then.
Jumping is the most basic aspect of any game. Mario jumped to save his life many times.
In that case, then why have I played lots of games which don't include it? Now, granted, it tends to be a very basic mechanic in games that have it, but that hardly means it's present in every game.
