God of Music?

Which Elder Scrolls gods (of any sort) could be considered gods of music? Thank you for your help.

The closest I can think of would be Sanguine... Since parties usually have music?

This topic jogged my memory about a book in shivering isles. Right now I think one god associated with music is Sheogorath

http://www.imperial-library.info/content/myths-sheogorath, but there really is no defined God of Music, save for a possible Yokudan deity (then again, they have deities for everything).

The Divine that comes the closest in my mind would be Dibella (beauty and all that), with the Princes falling into the realms of Sanguine and Sheogorath.

One could argue Julianos because of the whole "smart guy" schick he has going on.

Though honestly Dibella is a better patron for the arts. Sheogorath is more-or-less official and Sanguine fits.

If musicians are considered artists, then Dibella.
For the creativity of music, then Sheogorath.

Yeah, Dibella is a better patron for the arts, but music is audible art instead of just being visual. And while Sheogorath did invent it in one of his myths, saying that music is only his realm just doesn't sit right. I see it that it's divided between Dibella, Sheogorath, and Sanguine, depending on the worshiper.

Why do the Yokudans have so many gods, anyway? Are they simply more perceptive of the individual Et'ada that shaped the world, or are they more superstitious, or is there another reason altogether?

The 8 are not the only aedra in the Mundus, I think anyways. The Yokudans having so many gods could reflect this.

That's my point. Does the Redguard pantheon indicate an appreciation for all the spirits that came together to create Mundus, or is there another reason? It's peculiar that there is no equivalent of the Hoonding in any other pantheon, is it not?

Not at all. Hunding reflects a Yokudan cultural concept.

So powerful a concept, to spring entirely from mortal faith. Imagine what the Dwemer might have done with that willpower.

Hortator, bah. Just another enantiomorph. Nothing to see here.

The parallels are there. Unites disparate groups, leads people through times of strife, kicks. Major. Ass.

Enantiomorph. We've seen it a thousand and eight times. There's only ever been one Hoonding.

If horses had smarts like we ritual-apes, they'd render statues of horsey gods, enshrining horsey virtues, to quote Xenophanes in a way.

The mythopoesis at play here isn't a game, ruled by caprice. Mortals rattle the ald bones as the wind-chimes of necessity. A god of make-way was necessary, so they invented him.

Nuffin' unique in that.

Also, Swords and Crowns and all that. Cyrus per se wasn't enough to fill even one of the Hunding's boots.

An Aedra is merely a term for an et'ada that participated in the creation of Mundus. There were thousands, if not millions, of them. Think of it like the Daedra. There are the Princes, and there are the lower level Daedra.

But you'd think something as enormously powerful as the Make Way would show up in more than one pantheon. Unless he is a fabrication born of necessity.

Okay, so I once wondered whether Hoon Ding is related to the ascendance of the rebel, but that's putting roles on Cyrus and the Admiral/Emperor that don't really fit.

He's the Yokudan's idea of "GTF OUT OF MY WAY, [censored]!" Remember, these are guys who are extremely powerful swordsmen, so it's no surprise their own cultural god of pwnage is called the God of Make Way, http://youtu.be/wJGST0XNAIg
