God or myth?

Don't know much about this topic but, in joining together, couldn't it just mean Talos granting a blessing on the Septim blood, or say, granting a small piece of his power to the blood? Something to do with the pact of the amulet maybe. And just for grins, what is the signifigance of Martin and his link to Talos on this discussion?

Don't worry about it; trying to get knowledge is ALWAYS good, regardless.

Concering your last question, Martin is the illegitimate son of Uriel Septim the VII(ain't it the 7th?), the deceased Emperor of Tamriel.

Concerning Talos, he wasn't created until after Daggerfall with the help of the Underking (who, while he refered to himself as Zurin Arctus, he was actually Wulfharth [Underking before him], Hjalti Early-Beard ["true, original" Tiber Septim], AND Zurin Arctus. These 3 were connected through a mythic event called the Enantiomorph). The Mantella, which was the soul of Wulfharth Underking, NOT Arctus', allowed the Daggerfall Underking (along with Wulfharth and Hjalti) to mantle (Akatosh/Lorkhan) into godhood.

Of course, while many people share the gist of this idea, this is more or less my own viewpoint of relevant events. I shall explain more if need be.

And something that even MK did not realize...

The One Sermon of the Nerevarine, Sermon One

Then from outside the Provisional House, came a visitor for the one half of the Serpent of the Middle Air, whose hands were black, but not from apotheosis.

"Vehk, the Hortator has come. Though I may come again and again by your will alone. This time you will see that I have come by my will alone."

For a long while Vivec did not answer.

"This time you will betray your nature."

For a long while Vivec did not answer.

"This time your nature has betrayed you."

Then after a time Vivec addressed the Hortator.

"Azura, shade of my Brother, has truly completed her revenge."

The Hortator looked confused, and sat down on a pyre that was fueled with crab shells, and lit with the corner of Dagon.

Vivec looked down at the Hortator, and his eyes were all the shades of the rainbow.

"I killed the two-headed king, whom a river flows into his mouth."

"Then that revenge was revisted on you."

Vivec looked confused, and sat down on a bull-headed statue whose name was not yet revealed to the Northern Demons.

"What do you mean?"

"He gave you me, didn't he?"

"Yes, but..."

"Then I rest my case."

The ending of the words is VI.

Hmm. Like that you brought that up, Sethyas. Though it seems we may (or may not) have a difference in opinion.

To anolyze the info you've provided, you appear to take the position of someone who feels the reception of Anumidum by Tiber was his death, and by all means, I view this as valid. But perhaps I should provide a piece of information to detail MY viewpoint:

They slaughtered the sons of Skyrim, but not before King Wulfharth killed King Dumalacath the Dwarf-Orc, and doomed his people. Then Vehk the Devil blasted the Ash King into Hell and it was over. Later, Kyne lifted the ashes of the ashes of Ysmir into the sky, saving him from Hell and showing her sons the color of blood when it is brought by betrayal...-- http://www.imperial-library.info/mwbooks/wulfharthsongs.shtml

But mine may (or may not) be valid.

A god.

Good to hear that, MK.

The fact that he had an avatar, Wulf, in "Morrowind" was further proof for me that he was on the same level as Zenithar and Mara, with their avatars.
